Rudy Giuliani, might be the only hope for Republicans

Rudy giuliani has been obvious, yet still unfolding. Both christie and giuliani were well known for being aggressive federal prosecutors before jumping into politics. Giuliani made his bones under ronald reagan, while chris christie made his under george w. Both were initially mistrusted by many conservatives, but both eventually became quasi-conservative heroes and perennial candidates for higher office. The only difference to date is that christie is still in the very early stages of his political career, while the book on giuliani's political career has already been written. And reviews by conservatives are less than favorable. When pondering presidential candidates i believe one must match the candidate's strengths with the pressing issues we are currently facing. While ron paul would probably be a pretty good president in a peaceful world without islam, he would (in my opinion) be a disastrous president during this era of islamic expansionism. Giuliani's wife reveals a third marriage. It turns out that former new york city mayor rudy giuliani and his wife, judith, have a couple of things in common. Both have been married three times and divorced twice. Geoffrey chaucer wrote a hard truth more than 600 years ago when he observed that "time and tide wait for no man. " it is past time for the gop to pass the torch to a younger generation. The gop has a good bench of younger emerging leaders who could challenge president obama in a more energetic fashion on the battlefield of ideas. Its time to let some of them have a turn at bat.
Rudy giuliani are struggling to stay front-runners. Giuliani must have known this day was coming. The new york city policemen's union, the patrolman's benevolent association, has publicly. , in another blow to giuliani's nyc credibility, pba honcho patrick lynch said his group "could never support rudy giuliani for any elected office. " lynch's beef with the former mayor is over contract disputes that tarnished the end of his mayoralty. Now, never mind the fact that it's basically. To gripe about cop salaries — lynch also pretty much owes his position to giuliani's tightfistedness. He was elected as head of the pba in a surprise upstart election, running in 1999 at a time of major policeman frustration with giuliani. Still, even though it was surely expected, the presidential candidate's camp couldn't muster much of a stinging comeback to lynch's attacks.
Rudy giuliani are both darlings of the conservative wing of the party, and both caused a stir of their own with visits to the region. Michele bachmann of minnesota joining the race could further challenge mr. The former governor and business executive aggressively challenged the president while trying to pitch himself to the coalition that makes up the modern republican party: fiscal conservatives, social conservatives, evangelicals and libertarians. Romney, who lost the republican nomination to arizona senator john mccain in 2008, hopes it's now his turn, but he will have to convince fellow republicans. Repeated polls show party members unimpressed with or indifferent to the declared candidates.
Rudy giuliani are all intimately linked - as is gw bush - to the manhattan institute, a rockefeller-funded think tank founded by former cia director, william casey. For more about their ties to the manhattan institute and eugenics see our directory. City fires 3,500 former welfare recipients.
Rudy giuliani are added to the mix, the entire race is shaken up. Christie leads the pack with 18 percent, with romney right behind in second with 17 percent. Palin takes third with 13 percent, while giuliani and bush tie for fourth with 11 percent. Bachmann is in sixth with 8 percent, while pawlenty and paul tie for seventh with 6 percent. Christie and bush have vocally announced their intentions not to run in 2012. Ryan has expressed little interest in running in 2012 while giuliani, who ran in 2008, has left the door open for a second bid. “mitt romney has cemented his place as the front-runner,” insisted dean debnam, the president of ppp. “but the rapid rise of candidates such as herman cain, and previously donald trump, reveals a fluid field and a precarious position for romney. While her general approval ratings continue to suffer, the poll finds that palin has the highest approval ratings among republicans. Of those surveyed, 62 percent look on her with approval, while 27 percent see her in an unfavorable light. Romney does less well, though he still pulls solid numbers — 55 percent favorability, while 27 percent think him unfavorable. While 44 percent view pawlenty as favorable, 25 percent think him unfavorable, and 31 percent are not sure. Cain is viewed favorably by 40 percent of republicans, unfavorably by 26 percent, and 34 percent are not sure about him. Gingrich is upside down among republicans — 36 percent see him favorably, 49 percent unfavorably.
Rudy giuliani are maybes - along with sarah palin. There are even nonpolitician pols, such as herman cain. These republicans, like most republicans, make for a polite bunch. When it comes to presidential nominations, alas, the result is that the gop can look a lot like the elks: less a political party than a benevolent and protective order bestowing its nomination on some older, venerable member whose "turn" it is to run.
Perry endorsed rudy in '08 -- despite their gulf on social issues. Both names have increasingly popped up as presidential possibilities.
Rudy giuliani are both darlings of the conservative wing of the party and both caused a stir of their own with visits to the region. Rumblings about texas governor rick perry, new jersey governor chris christie and us representative michele bachmann of minnesota joining the race could further challenge romney. Romney, who lost the republican nomination to us senator john mccain in 2008, hopes it's now his turn, but he will have to convince fellow republicans. Romney's strengths are substantial: he's well known and he's an experienced campaigner. He also has a personal fortune and an existing network of donors. However, he must confront his own record of changing positions on social issues including abortion and gay rights, shifts that have left conservatives questioning his -sincerity.
Rudy giuliani are just a few of the famous faces who have partaken in junior's cheesecake. Grimaldi's is one of the most popular pizza restaurants in new york city. Is so well-liked that lines up to two hours long have been known to form outside the door.
Rudy giuliani are all possible late entries. The obama campaign team is not waiting around for an opponent to be nominated. They are hoping to have raised $60 million by the end of june, and are providing early signals on the states where they think the 2012 contest will be decided.
Rudy giuliani are talking about little else as they position themselves on an issue critical to conservatives in their party. "they are trying to rattle their sabers louder than the other and thump on their chests," said angela kelley, deputy director of the pro-immigrant national immigration forum. "both of these guys are trying to remake themselves. Romney started the fight, and his criticism reflects his campaign's emerging strategy after his victory in the iowa straw poll on aug. Romney's advisers would like to narrow the gop race as much as possible to a two-person contest with giuliani, and they are seeking to brand romney as the true conservative in the race, in contrast to giuliani.

Newt Gingritch, Really?

Most americans legal immigrants included hold conservative values. The problem in the paradigm is party loyalty. When we ran paul rodriguez for congress against nydia velasquez we asked ten questions of most of the constituents we met. They were issues questions regarding family values vouchers etc. Positions that were supported by conservatives, yet they were too tied to their party identity to vote for a conservative candidate. Most people respond to cliches rather than reasoned arguments and that is dilemma we are facing. The elites in this country have figured that out and are playing the public like a fiddle. Conservatives must realize they belong to a movement. They have invested emotionally in political parties and that is the paradigm that we must deal with. There are conservatives in the democratic party, as independents and the vast bulk in the republican party. The republican party was never a conservative party. It was just a party where most conservatives found themselves. We need to learn the lessons of this experience. Our problem in the political landscape arose when political office changed from a civic duty and obligation and became a career.
2 - the only way to make a point, that we shouldn't listen to jim mcdermott on the issue, is to say that the act of warrantless surveillance is illegal and wrong. Which makes mcdermott's point for him.
Newt gingritch are not reactionary men, these are men who have thought long and hard about this issues; something else was going on here. Now it makes perfect sense to me, if the right can frame this as ww iii, that lets them off the hook in iraq. They want to frame iraq as a one battle within a larger war with islam. They have already succeeded in connecting al queada to saddam perception wise, now they want to widen that connection to iran, syria, palestine, and hezbollah. The farther they can go towards bunching these muslims together the less iraq looks like a drastic isolated failure and the more it looks like just one necessary battle in a larger inevitable war. I see a funny parallel between the kim jong july 4th fireworks and the supposed ã¢â‚¬å“shock and aweã¢â‚¬? of the iraq war. Both were executed with the intention of flexing muscle and both have fizzled out miserably. More weaknesses have been exposed than strength displayed. I look at the pictures of gw at the g8 and i see no humility. He has managed to create a disaster in iraq, ignore a disaster in new orleans, and he looks every bit the cowboy and the fraternity bully. We hear him tell blair on the microphone – i might have kofi go talk to the syrians hey, i have an idea, why can't you go talk to the syrians.

Donald Trump not running for president even though he thinks he can win

There had been widespread skepticism about Trump's flirtation with a run grounded in the fact that he has closely guarded information about his finances in the past; Trump once sued one author that he said had low-balled an estimate of his net worth. Running for president would have meant that Trump would have needed to make significant financial disclosures to the Federal Election Commission.  Donald Trump ended his months-long public flirtation with a 2012 presidential run Monday, saying that he will not seek the Republican nomination -- even though he could have won the election.  Thats kind of arrogant and cocky, I like that he is not a politician, but he is kind of a flake.    "After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency," Trump said in a statement. "This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."  Did he not put much thought in it before he announced that he was running earlier?   There had been widespread skepticism about Trump's flirtation with a run grounded in the fact that he has closely guarded information about his finances in the past; Trump once sued one author that he said had low-balled an estimate of his net worth. Trump polled relatively well in early surveys of the GOP field, though his strength appeared to be more of a reflection of his name-recognition - and the wide-open nature of the contest for the nomination - than his presidential prospects. (Recent polls have found that more than half of Americans say they would not vote for him.) He is the second high-profile candidate - along with Mike Huckabee - to announce in recent days that he is not running.   Does the republican party have any notables running next year?  I cant bear the thought of Newt Gingritch running.  What do you think?

What about Palin?

Is Palin a good answer, or would it be more of the same? She seems unlike the other&nbsp;politicians in the way she presents herself. &nbsp;I have a hard time believing&nbsp;&nbsp;that she doesn't take money from big business like oil, and mining. Who knows though, maybe that stuff could make the government money in return though. &nbsp; She seems like a moral&nbsp;candidate, but look at her family. &nbsp; Its worth some research.<img src="http://theblogbooster.com/pixel.gif" width="0" height="0" style="border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-width: initial; border-color: initial; " alt="" />

Is Obama good for us?  What makes him bad or good?  It used to be easy, either you were a democrat, or republican, thats it.  Now, you have to have so much money just to get anywhere, politicians have to make huge compromises.  The big business funds the campaigns.  Big banks were Obama's number one contributers.  Is this the first, or last time that has ever happened?  Who takes the most honest money, thats who you ask yourself.  I see less wrong with sliding a street construction company some contracts, or a wind farm some contracts than dealing with big banks, and bailouts.  What do we really know though?  We know what we are allowed to know.  Watch videos about these people, read books on them.  He who has the gold makes the rules.  That is the golden rule.
